John Mark Echols
John Mark was born and raised in Midland. After graduating from the University of Alabama with a degree in Business Management, he reluctantly returned to Midland.
Soon after returning to Midland, he was invited to church and was radically transformed and made new by the grace and forgiveness of Jesus Christ. John Mark began to serve the homeless through volunteering at Church Under the Bridge. It was through this serving ministry that help lead to his eventually calling.
John-Mark and his wife Briana founded The Field’s Edge in 2016 and they along with their 4 children are missional residents at the village.
