Nidia Soriano was born and raised in Odessa, Texas. Her parents were immigrants to the United States, and she is the oldest of 3 sisters. Nidia says she always knew she would work in non-profit without realizing what non-profit was. She grew up with help from her community and because of non-profit organizations her family was able to have a home. It was also because of a non-profit that Nidia went to college and was able to afford it.
Nidia currently serves as the Fundraising and Community Engagement Director for the Boys and Girls Club Permian Basin and is responsible for attaining financial support by donations from corporations/individuals/groups or fundraisers. Boys and Girls Club Permian Basin is a faith based non-profit designed to serve our next generation teaching kids the importance of community and support for one another.
As a servant leader, Nidia is on the Odessa Under 40 Committee and a member of Leadership Odessa 2024 class.
Nidia and her two children currently reside in Odessa, Texas.
